28 Days of Kisses Tag - Day 3 =Guerlain Rose Piquant

Today I met up with the lovely Sian from Forever Fabulous In Bows , if you don't already read her blog you should definitely check it out. Not going to lie I want her wardrobe, she does gorgeous outfit of day posts regularly and great beauty reviews too. She's one of the many lovely girls I've met since I started blogging and it was nice to meet up as it felt like I hadn't seen her in forever. We had a nice lunch in Yo Sushi before having a browse around the shops. I was meant to be just browsing but as per usual I ended up making some sneaky purchases which you'll see in an upcoming post.
Again I kept my makeup simple, I got a sample of Estee Lauder's Double Wear Light when I got paid and I'm still undecided on it. I like the finish it gives on my skin but I've heard that this foundation can break you out. I'm still on the fence with it so if you guys have any foundation recommendations let me know. The lipstick I decided to use today was Guerlain's Rouge G in Rose Piquant. My Mom got this for me in the Sales last year when it was €21 cause who in their right mind would pay €42 for a lipstick. I'm a student so I'd never have that kind of money to spend anyway in the first place, let alone on a lipstick. All the negatives aside though this is a gorgeous lipstick, the packaging is so luxurious, there's even a mirror in the lid. It's a soft pink shade that looks so nice on the lips, this lipstick would suit any makeup look. It definitely wouldn't be something I'd bring on a night out with me for fear that I would lose it which knowing me would be highly likely. It's definitely one of those lipsticks that I root out now and again, it wouldn't be something I'd use all the time. I want to make it last as I know I won't be adding another one of these babies to my collection anytime soon.

Do you have any lipsticks like this in your collection?

  1. I've heard mixed reviews about Double Wear too, I think the coverage is amazing but I've heard similar comments about break outs. Why don't you try Nars Sheer Glow? Don't let the name fool you as it isn't sheer at all, it has a lovely medium yet build able coverage.

    1. I know I like the foundation but I'd be hesistant to buy it if it was likely to break me out, you know? It's such a shame. Oh I've heard a lot of good reviews on this foundation I may definitely it a go. Thanks for recommending it to me x
