The Lo Down - My Badge/Pin collection

Hey Guys and Dolls,

Ever since I was younger I've always had an obsession with badges. I started collecting them when I was about ten or eleven I think so I have a pretty big collection so far and I like them alot.

I have picked up most of my badges on my travels and at gigs I've gone to over the years, I also pick up a couple of charity pins here and there as it's always nice to support a good cause. I usually keep all my badges on teddies but I threw some out lately and just kept the jumpers. Some badges can be pretty expensive like the ones you get in Disneyland which I have a few of and there my favourite.

My latest badges are from Etsy. I actually never used this online store before and I was really impressed by the way. Amazing service from the seller and the badges arrived really quick so I will definitely buying some more again. The seller in question is Peanut Butter Press and  just check out the instagram there's so many amazing pins and if your mad about pins like me you definitely won't leave without buying at least one. I love the badges I purchased and of course they are The Wizarding World related and they are soo magical. I bought three badges in total and they are really nice and the attention to detail is amazing. I got three Hogwarts school crests, I'm going to go back and get the Ravenclaw crest as soon as I have money. I'm also hopefully getting a Fantastic Beasts one made too. Again I was so impressed with these pins, it came to €23 for all three including postage and packaging which is pretty good in my opinion.

I love all my badges, I have over 200 in total at the moment and I'm sure I'll pick up some more in the future. I think it's such a nice thing to collect and it's great fun too.

The Lo Down - Seavite Skincare Overview

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I've always wanted to start doing overviews on brands, like background stories as some are very interesting. The first brand I'm going to do a overview on is Seavite Super Nutrient skincare range, an Irish brand I was introducted to recently.

So a bit about Seavite, the brand itself was created in the 90s by Scientist Patrick Mulrooney. He created this Irish seaweed based range to help cure his daughters eczema. I get this skin condition myself and I know how hard it can be at times. The super nutrient range was recently taken over by Patrick's daughters Jane and Katherine who are both medical doctors who own renowned skin clinic, Dr Mulrooney Clinic in Dublin 4. I'd actually love to visit their clinic someday myself I've heard nothing but amazing things about it so that's a good sign.

In 2015, the doctors set a challenge for themselves to build on their father's legacy by improving all the Seavite formulas with all the latest scientific developments and ingredients in skincare creating a brand new identity. I find this award winning brand so interesting and by the looks of things the products look amazing. A few of my family members like me have eczema so I'd love to see what they think of the products themselves. The recently revamped website is a great tool, it's so informative. It contains a interactive Skin Clinic video section which allows customers access the Doctor's perspective on treating and managing certain skin concerns.

I was sent a couple of products to try from the brand and just look at the presentation, it's beautiful. I'm not going to show you guys what I received yet I'm going to leave it as a surprise for the review posts. I like the presentation has a alot of information about the brand aswell, it's a good idea. I haven't gotten a chance to give them a go yet but I'm excited to try them. I'm not going to review the products just yet as you all know some skincare doesn't make a real difference to you skin for 4 weeks. Of course when I give them a try I'll be putting up a review and I'll let you guys and dolls know when.

Lush's Brrrr-illiant Gift Box

Lush's Brrrr-illiant gift box was one of the many Christmas presents I got from my boyfriend, Paddy. I was suprised that he got me something from Lush, it isn't a shop he'd enjoy venturing into on his own. I have to say he did a great job as I love this little set he picked up. I almost didn't want to open it the wrapping paper was so cute!

When I took the wrapping paper off, a fresh citrusy smell took over my room. I'm used to seeing the multi colour foam pieces in Lush gift box but popcorn? That's the first time I've ever seen that.

Brrrr-illiant contains a Snowglobe Soap (100g) and Whoosh Shower Jelly (100g). Snowglobe is a festive favourite of mine and my Mom actually stocked up on it during the sale. I'm not sure if it's still available in stores, a good alternative is Sexy Peel which smells almost the exact same. Lush Shower Jellies are products I haven't used before. I was given one as a gift a while ago but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Whoosh smells very fresh, it's described as a mix of energising citrus oils with a blend of rosemary and geranium. Very fancy altogether! Whoosh is a permanent Lush product and is available all year round. Have you tried Lush Shower Jellies? What's the best way to use them without making a mess?

I think both of these products would be really good for early birds as they are so refreshing.

M.A.C "Surf, Baby" Collection Haul/Swatches

I love MAC so I always keep an eye on their website as you can see what the newest product or collection is going to be. When I saw the collection for this Summer, "Surf, Baby" I knew I had to get some of their limited edition products.

The collection was released on Thursday in all Irish Brown Thomas/BT2 stores. I decided to go down and have a look. The first thing that hit with me with this collection is the variety of shades(vibrant and subtle) so their will definitely be a shade to suit everyones preference.

I picked up 5 products in the store that I felt would suit me best. The pictures below will give you a taste of the latest collection.

Surf, Baby! Eye Shadow-"Surf USA" €15.50

This eyeshadow is a beautiful shade of teal and would go perfect with the product below.

Surf, Baby Powerpoint Eye Pencil-"Blue Noon" €18.00

Blue Noon, a teal colour with a hint of gold, this eyeliner works well with Surf USA to finish off a great eye look.

Beneath is a swatch of both products.

Next I purchased some lip products from the collection.

Surf, Baby! Lustre Lipstick-"Naturally Eccentric" €18.50

I really like this nude shade as it tones down my natural lip colour. It leaves you with a light pink effect.

On to the next lip product I purchased!

Surf, Baby Lipglass-"Good Lovin' " €18.00

I was torn between 2 lipglasses in this collection. The shade above and "Girl On Board". I wanted a shade that would also work really well with "Naturally Eccentric", after much deliberation I came to a conclusion and got "Good Lovin'". This gorgeous peachy pink colour could be worn on its own as well as with my new lipstick.

Here is a swatch of the two products, "Good Lovin" on the left and "Naturally Eccentric" faintly visible on the right (sorry it's such a light shade).

I left the best product of the collection till last (hope you girlies agree).

Surf, Baby Cheek Powder -"My Paradise" €25.00

I love this product so much, I like how you can build up the coverage to the perfect shade of peach you desire. The gold hibiscus flower overspray is thicker than previous years which I prefer as it can be used as a eyeshadow aswell.

I think if you were to purchase one item from this collection it should be the "My Paradise" Cheek Powder as it is such a gorgeous shade. The packaging on all products in this collection our limited edition and they are due to sell fast especially the cheek powder which is already sold out on the MAC UK website (link below).

Lush Little Green Bag Overview

If you follow me on Twitter you'll have heard me mention Lush's newest gift set,Little Green Bag. After seeing it online, I really wanted to try out their latest offering.

So when I was out shopping the other day I couldn't pass the Henry St store without peeping in to see had it launched.At the moment I thin this set is just available in Lush stores in Europe so I shall leave a link below for the Lush Uk website.

I love buying Lush sets as they are really good value. There also may be a certain product in them that I may not necessarily go for myself but it ends up becoming my regular favourite.

This is how "Little Green Bag" looks. All the products in it our environmentally friendly and vegan. The bag itself is Furoshiki scarf which is also reusable to help prevent waste. This can be used to hold some belongings or to wrap a gift.

In total there are 5 products in "Little Green Bag"!
The only product I've tried in the set previously is the Massage Bar. So I am so excited about trying out these products and giving you a review soon.

This is the only product in this set I've purchased before. I love the citrus scent. I f you haven't used it before it is definitely one to try.

I purchased this set at €19.95 but the whole set is worth €25.96 so that's a super saving of €6.00(€6.01 to be exact). I think anyone who is going to 0xygen or Glastonbury should invest in "Little Green Bag" as it has all essentials you'd need for the weekend.
