Christmas Gifts From MakeupLand2011

The lovely Chie from Makeupland2011 sent me a Christmas gift which I received in the post last week. I've done two swaps with Chie in the past which you can check out here.  It was like Christmas had come early when this parcel arrived at my house!! All the products were wrapped in gorgeous festive wrapping paper.

No your eyes don't deceive you, these are the much talked about Revlon Lip Butters. Chie surprised me with three gorgeous shades, Cotton Candy is my current favourite. Revlon Lip Butters are only available in the United States, I don't think there launching in Europe until March next year. I'm going to pop up a review on these sometime in the New Year.

Chie also got me the ELF HyperShine Gloss Collection set. It contained all of the above lipglosses. I've never tried these ELF lipglosses before and so far I'm loving them. They are all wearable shades that I can see myself using alot. The middle lipgloss in the picture above doesn't have a name, I wonder what it is?

Beauty Swap With The Lovely MakeupLand2011 Part 2

I took part in a beauty swap with Chie back in July. I think swaps are such a good idea to try out different products which may not be available in your own country. We decided to do another swap not too long ago which I was very excited about as I had so much fun doing the last one. As I've said before I love her Youtube videos, they range from hauls to tutorials so I know you girls will like them too.

Recently I recieved my package in the post. Here are some of the goodies she sent me this time.

I've never tried Hard Candy products. I would certainly pick out these products for myself I love them. Fox In a Box also looks like a great dupe for Benefit Sugarbomb.

Napoleon Perdis Set in Pretty Presto!

From Napoleon Perdis, this set is gorgeous and contains two eyeshadows, a blush, lipgloss and mascara. I would probably use this set for touch ups on nice outs. I love the neutral eyeshadows they are super pigmented .

ELF Mineral Eyeshadows

Chie sent me six mineral eyeshadows from ELF. I haven't opened them yet but I'm looking forward to trying them out. I don't have too many mineral eyeshadows in my collection. What's the best way to apply them??

ELF Brightening Eye Colour set in Day 2 Night
All these colours would make a nice day look and it's handbag size too which is great. I really like the eyeshadows that are included in this set.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Cottage Cheese

I have a NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk which I recieved in a previous swap with Jenn Staz. These pencils work well as eyeshadow bases and for a pop of colour on the lid. I had my eye on Cottage Cheese so I'm glad Chie sent me it.

Liole Vita Shake Pack in Kiwi
I've never heard of the brand Liole before now. These face masks are supposed to exfoliate your skin and leave your skin soft and nourished. I'll let you know my thoughts as I use them.

Bath and Bodyworks Scream-A-Colada Body Lotion
Hence the names you probably guessed these are Halloween themed products. I love the smell of Scream-A-Colada. It has a gorgeous coconut scent.

Slatkin & Co Candles
Wow these candles smell amazing. Chie sent me six of these so there going to last me ages. It's so hard to pick my favourite so far but if I had to pick one it would probably be Frosted Cupcake.

Beauty Swap with the Lovely MakeupLand2011

Hey everyone,

A while ago I tweeted about some products I couldn't get my hands on in Ireland. That day I got a lovely email off Chie (MakeupLand2011) from the United States suggesting that we do a swap. I love the idea of beauty swaps as it's a good way to try stuff out that's not readily available in your own country and there also great fun. I've done two swaps before which I really enjoyed. Of course I was only too happy to take part in this one.

Chie is the nicest girl ever and so genuine. If you haven't checked out her YouTube channel you should definitely have a look. I love her videos!!! They are so informative and there's everything from step by step tutorials to reviews etc. I was really excited about this swap. We organised it about two weeks ago now. It actually doesn't seem that long ago come to think about it. Last Friday Chie emailed me to tell me that she sent my package.

Imagine my surprise, after I came home from work on Wednesday my package had arrived. After a quick glance I realised it was from Chie. I was beyond excited about it. As it was delivered on Friday I really wasn't expecting it so soon. It was such a awesome treat.

When I opened my package I was left speechless. I was so shocked with all the lovely goodies she sent me. I wasn't expecting so much.

This bag is gorgeous. Here in Ireland we don't have a Victoria's Secret so I was so happy to see this bag. Purple is also my favourite colour.

I got this gorgeous card of Chie. It gave me a bit of background on all the products that she chose for the swap. She also sent me a assortment of sheet masks (above picture) which are popular in the states. I'm really looking forward to trying them out.

I bet you can see why I was left lost for words. Everything looks amazing. Thank you so much Chie for the amazing products and gifts. We will have to do a swap again in the future. All these products will last me for ages I bet. I will definitely keep you posted on how I get on. I've used a bit of the EOS lipbalm in Honeysuckle Honeydew and I love it...the packaging is so cute.

I'm really looking forward to trying everything out and will let you girls know my thoughts!
