The Lo Down - Sleek Cream Contour Kit

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I haven't tried too many products from Sleek Cosmetics. It's never been a brand that I've been particularly drawn towards to be honest. I've recently purchased some products from the brand and one of them is their Cream Contour Kit.
I've always wanted to try one of these and at €13.95 it's not too pricey either compared to others out there on the market. I've always sort of shied away from cream contour as I thought it would make a mess and look dirty on the face. I was wrong though this product is really good and I like it.
The palette itself comes with two highlighting shades and four contouring shades which is everything you need for contouring. This palette is also very buildable and blendable. I went for the shade light as I'm pretty pale at the moment.

This palette is perfect for me as my face is pretty round and I have like no cheekbones and contouring is much needed sometimes. This palette gives the effects of cheekbones. This product is also compact with a good size mirror so it's great for travelling and for popping in the oul makeup bag. Boots ususally have offers on Sleek products which is worth having a look at. A recent offer was buy one get the second product half price which is a pretty good offer if you want to stock up on your favourites.

The Lo Down - Loreal Glam Bronze Cushion de Soleil

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I haven't really tried too many cushion products, I've just never been really drawn towards them to be honest. I recently started using Loreal's Glam Bronze Cushion de Soleil lately that I purchased a while back and I've been really loving it.
Basically it's a liquid bronzer in a cushion, you can get a foundation aswell which I own but I can't say I've used it much since I bought it. This on the other hand has been used lots lately. It comes with one of those sponges aswell that no one ever uses.

I apply it using my SoSu Pro Blender. It goes on so lightly can't make a mistake and gives the most gorgeous glow. I love it! It retails for in and around €16 but Loreal products are usually on special offer in Boots depends on the time you go in. If you can get your hands on this product I'd definitely recommend it.

The Lo Down - Charlotte Tilbury Seductive Beauty Instant Look in a Palette

Hey Guys and Dolls,

As you all know I love a good palette. I already featured one of my favourites, The Sweet Peach palette from Too Faced in the first Lo Down I did. There are some amazing palettes out there at the moment, some containing eyeshadows, some with both shadows and face products and this palette I have to show to you is one of those.
I'm a huge fan of Mrs Tilbury's products so when I first saw this palette I couldn't wait to try it. It is on the pricier side of things at €69 but it contains everything you need to create a gorgeous glam look sans the foundation, mascara, powder, lippy and eyeliner. So in my eyes it was worth the money. So basically this palette contains three shadows ( brighten, enhance, smoke) which are so beautiful, buttery and very pigmented, then you have some amazing cheek products, two pretty blushes and a bronzer and highlighter. I love her cheek products like her eyeshadows they are exceptional. This palette in my mind is kind of like makeup by numbers as every item has a number that helps to create the makeup look if you are new to makeup which is great.
I've created a look with this palette that you can see below, I like how it's so wearable and can be taken from day to night in a instant just like what it says on the tin. The lipstick I'm wearing is from Charlotte Tilbury aswell and it's her new limited edition The Queen lipstick which I will go into detail on in the a upcoming post. So far so good I love it as I'm not a big red wearer but this shade is really wearable and glams up any look in my opinion.
I think this set  would be perfect as a gift, I know I'd be delighted with this as a surprise. There are two options the seductive beauty palette and the natural palette. I can't wait to try the latter once I save my pretty pennies up soon. The seductive palette is apparentyl based on the golden goddess look and the corresponding products that go along with it. Great idea! If the rumours are true there are more palettes to come.

I love how you can check out how to beauty videos on Charlotte Tilbury's website and YouTube channel. I find them so informative and helpful if you want to try something new with your makeup. Plus it's a great way to catchup on new beauty launches.

What's your favourite Charlotte Tilbury product? I'd love to know!

MUA Bronzed Perfection Bronzer

MUA has been hitting the nail on the head lately with all their recent releases. Not only our their products brilliant but there inexpensive which is great for a student (get to that in a upcoming post). A great way to find out what there coming out with next is to "like" them on Facebook as they update that regularly with new and exciting products. I already have my eyes on their new Artiste Collection palette, I need it in my life. One of their new launches that I have been particularly liking at the moment is Bronzed Perfection* as you probably already guessed it's a bronzer and it's huge.

I had one similar from Gosh that I had for literally a year, before it came to a sudden end after I dropped it. I remember that being €20, this on the other hand is £3, do the maths people this one is a complete bargain. Even in the Autumn months (feels like Winter now) I think everyone likes looking that little bit bronzed, this stuff is just for that. It does look dark in the pan, but once on the skin it blends beautifully into a nice subtle glow, it is fast becoming my most reached for bronzer. For shimmer haters out there, this does contain a light shimmer but it's almost unnoticeable on the skin. If it's something that really bothers you I'd recommend swatching it in Superdrug beforehand. The only thing missing from this is a mirror which doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've just seen that MUA are bringing out new cream blushers, Blush Perfection. If there in anyway as good as their bronzer, I can see myself pick up a few as the shade range looks great and right down my street.

What MUA products have you been loving?

No7's Summer Of Dreams Collection

I was strolling through Boots picking up some gifts when I spotted the latest No7 Collection. Summer of Dreams contains a bronzer, two glitter polishes, four eyeshadow crayons and two lip shines. I feel like this collection was made with me in mind as I absolutely love everthing. The eyeshadow crayons were nowhere to be seen at my counter. Apparently there was a problem with their delivery and they never arrived hopefully I'll get to catch a glimpse of them soon. I was planning on doing a bit of window shopping as I don't get paid for ages. That was until the lovely sales assistant told me that the No7 vouchers were back. Possibly the worst thing she could of done as I went into spending mode. I was good though and bought two products that appealed to me the most.

The No7 Summer of Dreams bronzer has the most gorgeous packaging I've ever seen it caught my eye right away. The fancy glitter on the product is overspray and will come off after a couple of uses. It costs €17.50 but along with the voucher it ended up being €10. For that price I think it's such a bargain. The packaging looks so luxurious, I can see this being the stand out of the collection. I'll be certainly carrying this around in my makeup bag this Summer. The other product I picked up was their Nourishing Lip Shine which is a replica of the Clarins Lip Perfector. There's two shades to choose from, I went for the peachy offering as it's something I could see myself using everyday. This was €14.50 without the voucher, it would of been €7 if I had one. Being more than half the price of the Clarins Lip Perfectors, I can see these being snatched up as they are a cheaper alternative.

I've yet to test these out so I can't comment on them much. I'll have reviews up shortly were you can see my thoughts on both products.

Have you picked up any products from the Summer of Dreams Collection?
