Roger & Gallet L'Homme Range

For this post I've gotten some help from my Dad and brother.

I've been loving the Roger & Gallet Fleur D'Osmantus range so far and I thought it would be good to get them to have the opportunity to review some products from their men's L'Homme range.

The star product of this range has to be the L'Homme Eau de Toilette. At €39.75 this may seem a little on the pricey side of things but at 100ml it will last for ages. It's a very masculine cypress wood perfume. My Dad and brother absolutely love this scent as it's perfect for everyday.

Both my Dad and brother are gym lovers so the shower gel has definitely come in handy. The shower gel is kinda expenisve at €11.75 but I've been informed that this stuff smells amazing and leaves your skin ultra refreshed and moisturised. Perfect for after the gym!

Lastly my Dad reviewed the L'Homme grooming products, the Shaving foam and aftershave balm. My brother is currently rocking a kinda Conor McGregor style beard so he won't shave it for love nor money. My Dad on the other hand loved reviewing these two products they said they worked really well together. The aftershave balm left his skin feeling nice, smooth and refreshed.

The packaging also gets two thumbs up as they are the perfect size to fit into their gym bag. They are over the size to put in carryon luggage but if your checking in a bag when your going on holidays you can pop these in two.

So if your stuck getting the man in your life or just one of your male family members a present I'd definitely recemmend this range.

Another Idea for Christmas - Roger & Gallet Jean Marie Farina Soap Coffrets

I'm back today with another beauy review from Roger & Gallet a brand that I've been liking quite a bit lately. The Jean Marie Farina soap coffret comes in lovely Christmas packaging just in time for Christmas.
I've tried a couple of scents from the range but the new Jean Marie Farina scent is new to me. It's a  fresh lemon and orangey scent inspired by the fragrances and irresistible freshness of and Italian garden and the clear waters of the Mediterranean. I wouldn't be the biggest fan of this scent, Fleur D'Osmanthus still wins hands down for me. The scent is really fresh and the base notes of cedarwood, sandlewood and myrtly definitely shine through. I know perfumes are a really personal thing and everyone has different tastes, so I definitely recommend going into store to check out these sets as they are available in all the scents.

Again for €16 I think these would make a great stocking filler and secret santa gift. There are also alot more Roger & Gallet gift sets to choose from so you wouldn't be stuck for choice.

Roger & Gallet Christmas Cracker Gift

With Christmas just around the corner I thought this was a gorgeous little stocking filler from Roger & Gallet. At  €6.50, you can't really go wrong with this little cracker. In the little gift you get a lovely handbag friendly hand and nail cream and mini vial of perfume aswell.
At  €6.50 considering a hand cream on its own is that price, I think this is such a great purchase as it's wrapped beautifullly and would be perfect for a friend or a secret Santa gift.

I'm a bit biased towards the Fleur d'Osmanthus scent as I've been using it alot lately but if your near a pharmacy that sells Roger & Gallet I'd definitely recommend trying it out. It's such a lovely light scent perfect for everyday. I know I'd be happy to find this in my Christmas stocking this year, that's for sure! The Christmas cracker is also available in two other scents Creme Sublime and Fleur de Figuier. Out of the three fragrances my favourite still has to be Fleur d'Osmanthus. It's such a nice calming scent.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette

One of the most anticipated launches this year from Urban Decay is their Gwen Stefani palette. First off I'm in love with the packaging. Gwen herself was heavily involved in the making of this palette which I think is pretty cool. Twelve of the shades are new and three preexisting shadows from the  Urban Decay range. It's great that Urban Decay resisted the temptation to launch another  Naked palette and have taken a new direction with this collaboration. It definitely adds a breath of fresh air to the brand.

I'd probably wear all these shadows, the dark electric blue and the light pink shade.are very daring so I'm looking forward to playing around with them and all the browns and nude shades in this palette are to die for. All the shade names are really fun too and all represent Gwen and different times in her life for example her first album name etc.

At €46 I don't think you can really go wrong with this palette as it has such a variety of wearable, aswell as fun  shades to choose from. I personally just love the packaging and it's already taken pride of place on my shelf. I can see this being at the top of alot of beauty lovers Christmas list this holiday season. It's also limited edition so if you want to get your hands on this I'd definitely check out your local Debenhams or online

Fave Perfume of the Moment - Fleur d'Osmanthus Fragrance

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I've just been busy dealing with alot of stuff but I'm back again. I've really missed blogging as it's such a good outlet and I have so many ideas for my blog. I'm writing this post  about a scent that I've been loving lately that hasn't been out of my handbag. The scent I'm talking about is Roger & Gallet's. If your new to the brand I'll give you some background, Roger & Gallet is the leading parisian perfume distiller in France. First off I love the packaging it's pretty and simple which in my eyes lets the product itself do all the talking.
This fragrance also comes in a  bigger 100ml size which I know I'll probably pick up for myself soon as I absolutely love the scent it's so soft and delicate. The scent is also available in a body sorbet, soaps and lotion and shower gel (which I'll be talking about in a later post.)

If like me and you feel spoiled for choice with the wide rnage of fragrances to choose from you can take the fragrance diagnosis quiz on the Roger & Gallet website. Once the questions it will then reveal the fragrance that would suit you best which I think is a fab idea.

The 30ml size retails for €19.90 which I think is pretty reasonable considering the prices of some fragrances out there at the moment and I know this size bottle will last ages aswell.

Until my next post,

YES Party! (Vótáil Tá)

With recent events, I have definitely found myself getting back to my old self since my last update. Positivity and mindfulness has without a doubt helped me along the way and what better way to get the ball rolling then to jump back into my blog. I know, I know, its been far too long but I'm back, apologies to all my readers!! As it's my first post back I'm going to keep this one short and sweet.
On Thursday I headed along to a Vote Yes party for the upcoming referendum on the 22nd of this month. The event was held in Thinkhouse's offices in Fumbally Square. I couldn't think of a better location to have it. The weather was perfect on the day, the sun was splitting the stones and everyone was dressed to impress in their vote Yes get up. This referendum is the topic of much discussion nationwide as the outcome of the vote will effect many people.

When we got there my friend Seán and I were handed a glass of champagne along with a very warm welcome from Fiona from Thinkhouse. It was Sean's first event and it was nothing like he had ever experienced before and finds himself enthusiastic about coming along to more events in the future.  He's really interested in starting a blog himself so keep an eye out folks! The music was pumping the setup of the place was glamorous as ever and I was astounded by the amount that showed up! I haven't been to an event in some time it was nice to see some familiar faces and have a catch up with a few of my fellow bloggers!

The fundraiser was in full swing by 6 o'clock and carried on until late. There were pizza vans in the courtyard and camera men picking up the many magical moments experienced on the night. The positive vibes and hopefulness that marriage equality would be made legal in Ireland was contagious and emotionally captivating.

I honestly hope that it gets passed, everyone deserves to be treated equally and marry the person they love. To anyone that hasn't registered to vote as of yet, go out and do it the deadline is May 7th because one vote can make all the difference so encourage all voters to go and exercise their constitutional right to vote!!

Until next time,
