New Reads For Winter

I got my hands on these two book recently. Being a bit of a closet book worm I get so excited when I see a new release from favourite authors of mine. So when I seen these two books on the shelf in my local book stores it was no different.

The Time of my Life by Cecelia Ahern
This is Cecelia Ahern's nineth novel so far. It's almost strange to think that P.S I love you, her first book was published seven years ago in 2004. I've been reading her books ever since and some I've like more than others. My favourite book so far of hers is The Book Of Tomorrow. There was so many twists and turns in that book I was clued to it for days. By the look of the cover, The Time of my Life looks very enchanting. You know what everyone says though you can never judge a book by its cover.

The Best of Me By Nicholas Sparks
I love Nicholas Sparks. I couldn't possibly pick a favourite out of his books as I adore pretty much all of them. I find all his books to be so touching and I actually start feeling for the character so much. The Best Of Me is Nicholas Sparks's seventeenth book to date. One of the reasons why I love his books is because there so easy to read. I get through them so fast, I get disappointed that I have to wait so long for the next to be released. This book is sure to be another great love story from this amazing author.

I can't wait to get my nose stuck into these two books. I'm sure there going to be great Winter reads.

October Empties

This post was a bit delayed as I'm having such a hectic this week with work and everything. Better late than never though some would say. I have quite a few empties this month, mostly makeup products.

Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara
I'm in love with this mascara. Some mascaras claim to give you that false lash effect but this one really does. It give you so much volume and just makes my eyelashes look so amazing. I just found it dried up real fast on me.I don't know if anyone else had this problem too, other than that small hitch this is a great little mascara.

Korres Wild Rose Foundation
I finished this foundation at the start of this month and I've already bought another bottle. I love it!! You can check out my full review here.

MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
I bought this paint pot in and around my 21st birthday in February, it has served me a long time. I think it was in my August favourites post. I was going to purchase a replacement but then I seen Nubile which is very similar to Painterly so I grabbed that up. As the latter is Limited Edition , I could see myself buying Painterly in th future.

Benefit The POREfessional Primer & Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer.
I've had Benefit's POREfessional primer for ages, I finally finished it and moved onto the offering from Too Faced. I got a sample size Primed & Poreless in a gift set  in June. I really like this, it's alot like POREfessional but doesn't cost as much. I recently purchased the full size tube of this online for €20.90. I can't wait to get it.

Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion
I really like this stuff. I use Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion when I get up early for work and it leaves my eyes feeling so refreshing. I also use this as a eye makeup remover. You can check out my full review for this product here.

No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes
Yes I f finished two packages of these this month. How? I don't particularly have a clue. What I do know is these are my favourite makeup wipes at the moment. They are pretty pricey at €9.45 a packet but if like me wait til you get your hands on No7 €7.50 off vouchers and stock up. With the vouchers they come to €1.95 which is a bargain in my books.

I've finished seven products in October. I have to say I'm very pleased with myself as I find it such a hard thing to do.

Have you used any of the above products??

October Favourites

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

It's time for my October Favourites. I can't believe it's a little more than a month to Christmas. Seeing all the Christmas decorations and collections in shops is making me so excited! I don't have too many favourites this month so let's get to it.

Inglot Eyeshadow D.S. 465 & Eyeshadow Pearl 397
At the start of October I bought a five square custom palette from Inglot (I shall do a overview post soon). I love their eyeshadows, not only are they amazing quality but they are also a bargain. Here are the two eyeshadows that I've been using on a regular basis from this palette. Eyeshadow D.S. 465 is the stunning shimmery brown shade. I use this in the crease and I love how it's so wearable. Even though it does have a lot of shimmer, it doesn't show up too much once blended out. Eyeshadow Pearl 397 is what I've beening using as a underbrow highlighter during the month of October. It can also been used on the lid as a part of a neutral eye look.

MAC Nubile Paint Pot
As you all know I purchased three paint points from MAC's Posh Paradise collection at the beginning of October. Nubile is the one I've been using the most, it's alot like Painterly. Unfortunately I've run out of  it recently. A more peachy shade, I use this under my eyeshadow on a regular daily. As you can see from the picture above I've already used quite a bit.

Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid
I do suffer alot with dry lips but during the Winter months they get even worse. I've been using the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid for a while now. It's a lip treatment which is not only effective but also tastes amazing. The only con is the packaging as I find that the product can get stuck in it. Other than that I truly love this lip treatment and I shall definitely be repurchasing it.

OPI 'Warm & Fozzie' Nail Polish
This is one of the nail polishes for the OPI Muppet Collection. I purchased the mini OPI 'Muppettes' box and this was included. This bronze nail polish is one of my favourites from the collection. It contains tiny bits of green, gold and copper shimmer. Another must have of mine for the Winter months ahead.

Soap & Glory 'The Breakfast Scrub'
This was one of the first ever products I recommended on my blog. I love The Breakfast Scrub, this must be my fourth tub, I can't stop buying it. It has a maple syrup scent which I don't find sickly sweet. The Breakfast Scrub leaves my skin really smooth, definitely my favourite scrub of all time which is saying something.

'Candle In The Wind' Candle
My mom brought this gorgeous floral candle back for me as a gift from New York quite a while back. I never burned it until recently and I'm in love with it. Basically it's a gel candle in a glass holder, when it burns out completely the gorgeous flowers immersed in jelly remains which can be refilled with another candle. I adore the holder as it's very feminine and looks beautiful when the candle is lit on my bedside table.

What have been your favourites during the month of October? Any product recommendations?
