My Inglot Eyeshadow Palettes

My blog posts have been far and between lately as I'm still in the process of getting my laptop fixed. I brought it to a laptop shop that told me everything would have to be wiped to fix it, so annoyingly, I have to backup everything. I have no idea how to do this, so it will be quite a while before I send it away to be mended. In this post I thought I'd show you my Inglot eyeshadow palettes. I've been using them quite a bit lately.

As you can see I have three in total, the round eyeshadow palette was my first purchase from the brand. The second shadow from the left I use occasionally as an all over the lid colour but not alot. The two other palettes have shades that I use pretty much all the time, I bet you can guess the shadow I love the most.Yes it's the brown sparkly shadow that I've hit pan on, I use this in the crease all the time and it blends so easily. You may have spotted it in one of my monthly favourites posts too. The palette containing this shadow is also my favourite palette out the three I own. All the shades are very wearable, I love the purples for nights out while the top shade (Pearl 397) is gorgeous all over the lid and a fantastic brow highlight.

Pearl 397, Pearl 452, D.S. 465, D.S.493, D.S. 491

Matte 378, Pearl 434, Pearl 420, Pearl 421, AMC Shine 12

Matte 390, Pearl 402, AMC Shine 37, AMC Shine 42, AMC 53

Another thing I love about the square palettes is the packaging. I can see whats inside each one if I was in a hurry looking for a particular shade. I wouldn't be scared of putting these in my bag either as they are magnetic and sturdy. The only thing they don't have is a mirror which isn't something that would put me off them at all. I know some people find it hard to take the shadows out of the square palettes, but I just use the magnet from the lid and they come off with no problems. I heard Inglot sell a magnet thing to remove the shadows, it's not really essential in my opinion.

I'm considering purchasing a new Inglot palette soon maybe a 10 pan one as they're so affordable and the qualities amazing. All their eyeshadows are so pigmented, I think they could give some MAC ones a run for their money. I do own a MAC eyeshadow palette but I'd be more inclined to purchase other one of these as they aren't as expensive and there quicker to fill. Size wise your getting a 2.7g  eyeshadow with Inglot while MAC's are 1.5g. All three Inglot palette from what I can remember are around the €20 mark which is a bargain, don't you think? One thing about these shadows that is constantly mentioned are the names (numbers). Have you seen the amount of Inglot eyeshadows there is, like hundreds so it's understandable why they don't do names. Alot of the eyeshadows tend to look alike also so this is probably why they do numbers instead.

If your starting a makeup artist course or want your own eyeshadow palette, I'd certainly recommend investing in one of these. It's easy to choose eyeshadows you want on the counter as they are colour coordinated together which makes for much easier shopping, for me anyway.

What's your favourite products from Inglot? Have you tried their eyeshadows?

February Favourites

Not many products really wowed me this month, I've resorted back to using some products I haven't been giving much love to lately. One of them is included in this months favourites. In total, I have five products to show you all so I'm going to keep this post short and sweet like February.

I have three Inglot palettes, this is my favourite one.The eyeshadows are so pigmented and for the price (€20 for the entire palette) they were a bargain. I've had this for a couple of months now, my favourite shadow is the dark brown shade which you can see I already hit pan on. I've been using this in the crease with No7's Wheatsheaf eyeshadow all over the lid, regularly for work and it looks really nice. Don't let the glitter put you off, once blended it's more like a light shimmer. I've been more inclined to use these over my MAC eyeshadows lately. If you would like to see a post with swatches and shade numbers let me know in the comments.

The Body Shop's Chocomania Body Lotion
On my birthday I got lots of lovely Chocomania goodies as a present. Out of the products I've tried so far (not many), this is my favourite. As you can see the bottle, I've used it up quite a bit already. This body lotion leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. The whole Chocomania range smells great, I wasn't expecting it to be when I first heard of it's launch. I also like how the lotion seeps into my skin quickly without leaving it greasy.

Loreal Falsh Lash Telescopic Mascara
I always switch between a million different mascaras, but I've stuck with Loreal's latest offering for the last few weeks. I'm a big fan of the original Telescopic mascara so False Lash Telescopic had alot to live up to. Before applying this, my lashes were long to begin with but False Lash gives them that extra something. I'm always left with gorgeous fluttery lashes.

Benefit Sugarbomb Blush
As you can tell from the picture, I've had this blush for a long time. I've only tried two of Benefit's box blushes, Dandelion and this. I've been using Sugarbomb everyday since I rediscovered it in my room. Ir gives a really nice pop of colour to the cheeks, it's something different. I'm tempted to try Hervana next.

Loreal Paris Superliner Carbon Gloss
In my January favourites, I mentioned Loreal's Super Liner, it has squeezed in again this month. I can't believe it took me so long to try it. Before I started using this, I used gel liners all the time. Loreal Super Liner has now taken there place. If you haven't tried this already, I'd recommend it.

What has made it into your February favourites??

October Favourites

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

It's time for my October Favourites. I can't believe it's a little more than a month to Christmas. Seeing all the Christmas decorations and collections in shops is making me so excited! I don't have too many favourites this month so let's get to it.

Inglot Eyeshadow D.S. 465 & Eyeshadow Pearl 397
At the start of October I bought a five square custom palette from Inglot (I shall do a overview post soon). I love their eyeshadows, not only are they amazing quality but they are also a bargain. Here are the two eyeshadows that I've been using on a regular basis from this palette. Eyeshadow D.S. 465 is the stunning shimmery brown shade. I use this in the crease and I love how it's so wearable. Even though it does have a lot of shimmer, it doesn't show up too much once blended out. Eyeshadow Pearl 397 is what I've beening using as a underbrow highlighter during the month of October. It can also been used on the lid as a part of a neutral eye look.

MAC Nubile Paint Pot
As you all know I purchased three paint points from MAC's Posh Paradise collection at the beginning of October. Nubile is the one I've been using the most, it's alot like Painterly. Unfortunately I've run out of  it recently. A more peachy shade, I use this under my eyeshadow on a regular daily. As you can see from the picture above I've already used quite a bit.

Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid
I do suffer alot with dry lips but during the Winter months they get even worse. I've been using the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid for a while now. It's a lip treatment which is not only effective but also tastes amazing. The only con is the packaging as I find that the product can get stuck in it. Other than that I truly love this lip treatment and I shall definitely be repurchasing it.

OPI 'Warm & Fozzie' Nail Polish
This is one of the nail polishes for the OPI Muppet Collection. I purchased the mini OPI 'Muppettes' box and this was included. This bronze nail polish is one of my favourites from the collection. It contains tiny bits of green, gold and copper shimmer. Another must have of mine for the Winter months ahead.

Soap & Glory 'The Breakfast Scrub'
This was one of the first ever products I recommended on my blog. I love The Breakfast Scrub, this must be my fourth tub, I can't stop buying it. It has a maple syrup scent which I don't find sickly sweet. The Breakfast Scrub leaves my skin really smooth, definitely my favourite scrub of all time which is saying something.

'Candle In The Wind' Candle
My mom brought this gorgeous floral candle back for me as a gift from New York quite a while back. I never burned it until recently and I'm in love with it. Basically it's a gel candle in a glass holder, when it burns out completely the gorgeous flowers immersed in jelly remains which can be refilled with another candle. I adore the holder as it's very feminine and looks beautiful when the candle is lit on my bedside table.

What have been your favourites during the month of October? Any product recommendations?
