The Lo Down - Nyx Strobe of Genius Palette

Hey Guys and Dolls,

The other palette Daragh picked me up last week is the NYX Strobe of Genius palette and god it's a beauty. Boy I think I'm in love! Like the Sweet Cheeks palette I wanted this for a while now and I'm so happy he got it for me, he really is the best boyfriend I could ask for. I'm very much into getting that beautiful everyday glow and this palette does just that, I've been using it quite a bit since I got it off Daragh I'm not going to lie.

This palette is multi purpose which is good aswell, I've not just been using this a highlighter palette but as eyeshadows too. They work perfectly as both and I seriously can't get enough of this palette. For the price in and around €21 you can't go wrong as you get 7 shades that are so pigmented and they are all so wearable too. I've been using the shade in the bottom left hand corner the most and it just gives a beautiful natural glow that would be perfect all year round. 

NYX Cosmetics are definitely my favourite budget brand at the moment, other budget brands will have to take note as they are killing it right now. I already have my eye on other products from the brand that I will probably pick up on payday so watch this space for sure.

The Lo Down - Bourjois Sculpt Light Strobing Highlighter

I'm going to be honest I was never one for highlighting but over the last few months I've been using products more and more. The Bourjois Sculpt Light Strobing Highlighter is such a beautiful highlighting product, I love it! Being liquid you'd think it would be harder to apply but it isn't in the slightest it applies beautifully with a brush and leaves my skin gleaming. I apply it to all the high points of my face, my cheek bones, my brow bones, nose and cupid bows.

This product can be used alone or mixed in with your favourite foundation which I love doing I've gotten so many compliments. It's similar to the Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer in consistency the only difference is this is a highlighter.  I haven't tried too many highlighters so if you have any faves definitely keep me posted for sure. I love hearing your favourites. For the price €13.95 I believe this product is good value as you only need a tiny bit to get the desired effect. A full bottle will last a long time and I'll definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

The Lo Down - Boots Haul

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I love a good Boots haul so I do. I recently told you guys how quick and easy it is to buy products from their website. You can get the products sent you your home or to your local store. It's that simple, I purchased three products on Saturday and opted to get them sent to my local store Dundrum and to my surprise they arrived yesterday, such wonderful service I have to give it to them.

I ordered two Sleek products, their colour corrector palette and their Cleopatra's Kiss highlighter palette plus I bought a Aveeno daily body lotion. The latter is a lovely product, it's a daily body lotion that I bought for my elbows as I'm getting really bad eczema by the looks of things from stress. I hope this stuff works as it seems pretty good, it was inexpensive aswell. The two Sleek palettes dont need no introduction they've been doing the rounds lately on lots of blogs and YouTube channels. They look amazing and they weren't too pricey either. Boots are currently doing a buy one get one half price. So I payed in and around €14 for the highlighters and paid €4 for the colour corrector which was a steal, definitely the best price I seen these products at.

There's definitely going to be some reviews on these products once I give them a go so keep an eye out for them.
