Decision, Decisions - MAC Eyeshadow Palette Update

I've had my MAC eyeshadow palette for a while now. I feel like I've abandoned it as I've bought one eyeshadow in the last few months.

Top Row - Vanilla, Mylar, Nylon, Honey Lust, All That Glitters
Middle Row - Kid, Patina, Satin Taupe, Embark

After hitting Twitter to ask what your favourite eyeshadows were, I've compiled this list:

I've looked at some of these online and they are very beautiful eyeshadows. It's going to be so hard to choose which ones to get. I made a list in the first place as I feel quite overwhelmed with the amount of eyeshadows to choose from at my local MAC counter. I like neutral brown shades but I also want to get out of my comfort zone and try something different.

A Little Order From Beauty Emporium

On Cyber Monday, Beauty Emporium.ie had some great deals on. I was quite restrained and just made two purchases, one is for my sister's Christmas present which you may see in a later post. The other is this gorgeous OPI set.

OPI Best of the Best Collection contains ten of OPI's best selling polishes in mini form. You all know how much I love OPI minis so I adore this!! I may keep some of these for myself and use the rest for stocking fillers. This set would also make a amazing Christmas present for someone who isn't familiar with OPI and hasn't tried their polish before.

The set is separated into two boxes, light and dark which you can see above. 

Here are the polishes that are included:

Alpine Snow, Bubble Bath, Tickle My France-y, Strawberry Margarita, Cajun Shrimp

Big Apple Red, I'm Not Really A Waitress,  You Don't Know Jacques, Russian Navy, Lincoln Park After Dark

I'm glad I bought this set as it was such good value at €23. I seen OPI Best of the Best in other shops for €33 so to get it for €10 cheaper was great. My order was also shipped and delivered in two days which I was over the moon with. I think this deal is still running on Beauty Emporium so it's certainly worth having a look at!

Christmas Gift Ideas #3 - Christmas Candles

This time of year, it's become a tradition to have Christmas candles about my house this time of year. I always have a candle burning in my room, I find them so relaxing and they leave such a sweet aroma. I've already picked up a few for Christmas gifts as there are so many to choose from and they'll last for ages.

Here are two of my favourite Christmas Candles!

Christmas Cookie (Medium Jar) & Cinnamon & Sugar (Large Jar)

Both of these candles are from the Yankee Candle Company. They are my favourite Christmas scents by far. Cinnamon & Sugar is a lovely mixture of sugar and spice. I'm a fan of cinnamon scent so this was always going to be a winner with me. On the other hand Christmas Cookie is a really sweet vanilla scent that leaves the room smelling yummy! I bought the festive lid in the picture above separately. I think it gives a extra nice touch and apparently there said to make your candle burn better. Vanilla Cupcake is a good alternative to this scent if you can't find it instores.

Yankee Candles are available in a range of different sizes (tea lights, tumblers etc.) and price points. I bought both of these candles on special offer as the big candles can get expensive. Homestore + More actually have a great deal, all Yankee Candles are half price. This is such a good saving as the large jars are usually €26.50 and I got Cinnamon & Sugar for €13.35 which is a steal. I can see these candles selling out quickly as I don't think there is a better bargain out there at the moment.
