The Lo Down - Pure Results One Day Detox

Hey Guys and Dolls,

On the 4th of March, Pure Results One Day Detox event is being held in the Radisson St Helen's Hotel in Stillorgan. It's will be starting off at 9am and finishing at 5pm, it's going to include boxercise and yoga classes plus lots more including workshops so it's definitely going to be a great day out.
My sister, Lisa and I are going along to on the day, we're really looking forward to it as we've never been to a event like this before. Lisa has actually never been to anything like this so this will be her first and it should be great as this event is the first of its kind in Ireland. We believe this event is perfect for us as Lisa is big into fitness and is a qualified nutritionist and I've started my weightloss journey only recently. We both think we can benefit from this day out and take so much from it as I'm sure it will be really informative indeed.
Tickets cost €99 included in that price is a breakfast on arrival, lunch, a Q&A with Kathryn Thomas and the Pure Results fitness and wellbeing experts, classes, workshops and an amazing goodie bag filled with health and beauty products which is sure to go down a treat. Pure Results run fitness and nutrition retreats in the country during the year so this one day event would be a taste to see what there like and if it would be something that you would be interested in attending in the future.

If you yourself are looking to attend a fun and interesting day out which I'm sure will be really informative with lots of fitness and wellbeing tips along the way you can purchase tickets here.
This is a event not to be missed I'm sure a amazing time will be had by all and I hope to see some of you there too. Pure Results Bootcamp can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook under the username @PureResultsBootcamp if you're looking for information.

The Lo Down - Boots Skincare and Makeup Haul

Hey Guys and Dolls,

This is my second Boots Haul in a short while I have a serious shopping addiction you guys. Some of the deals are just too good to pass up though sometimes I guess and Boots have some great ones at the moment.
First off I bought some skincare. I'm a fan of Garnier's original micellar water so when I saw there 700ml bottle was only €6.50 the same price as their average size I had to snap it up. This bottle is huge and it's definitely going to last me ages. I also picked up two packets of their wipes as they were on special for €5.00 again great value as one packet is €4.50. I already did a review of these wipes on my blog which you can check out here. I already put up a review of these on my blog. Lastly with the skincare I bought the Loreal Pure Clay Glow Wash as it was on special for €3.99. I've already tried the mask from this range and it's amazing.
I then bought some makeup. I've tried alot of Loreal foundations in the past and I've found them really good. I've heard alot about their True Match range so I was expecting good things. I picked up their foundation and concealer so I'm excited to try them both. I picked up the shade Vanilla which I usually go for so I was hoping it was a good match for my skin tone and it was. I've been using this alot lately and it was my base in both my Valentine's Day Look and 27th Birthday look.

The Lo Down - My 27th Birthday Makeup

Hey Guys and Dolls,

Last Wednesday I celebrated my birthday and I had such an amazing day. I actually did a blog post on the day which you can check out here. I just chilled out really and spent it with my family. I'm meeting up with my boyfriend over the weekend though for drinks so that should be fun indeed. I need to relax with a nice Gin and Tonic that's for sure.
My makeup day on the day was quite simple yet a little glam as of course it was my birthday after all. I used some of the products I used for my Valentine's day look as they are just so good and staples in my makeup bag at the moment. I don't think I could be without them even though some of them are newbies.
So the makeup products I used are as follows. On the face I used Loreal's True Match foundation and concealer. I only bought this recently in Boots on offer for 2 for €15 and I'm delighted I did. It gives a nice amount of coverage and isn't drying on the skin one little bit. As I said in my Valentine's day I apply this foundation using my Louise Young foundation brush and it gives the nicest finish. I bought this in Harvey Nichol's Dundrum a couple of years ago now so I'm not too sure if you can still get it there. It is on the pricey side of things at €30 but it's a really good brush to have I use it all the time. It gets into all the really hard to reach areas on your face and it makes applying foundation a dream.

Now on to the eyes, I used two products on the eyes and I absolutely love both of them. For eyeshadow I used the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, this palette is pretty new to my collection. I bought it back in January but I've been using it alot especially the shade Luscious all over the lid. It looks amazing and I hope I don't hit pan on it for ages. I actually did a review on the palette which you can check out here. Out of all the Too Faced palettes it's probably my favourite one. For mascara I used Max Factor Fusion mascara as I said in my Valentine's Day post this is amazing and works wonders on the oul lashes I have to say. It gives a really nice volume and makes my lashes look a million dollars, now that's saying something. I do know when I run out of this stuff I'll definitely be buying a new one that's for sure.

Lastly I straightened my hair. I have a long bob at the moment and it looks ways better when it's straight even though I do wear it curly from time to time. I feel like the bob is much easier to handle than my long messy mane.

So that's my 27th birthday look in a nut shell. It was very simple and didn't take too long to create at all which is great as I had more time to celebrate my birthday. I'm definitely going to do more of these style posts in the future as I enjoy reading them myself.
