Butter London Holiday Glitter Trio!

On Wednesday I was in Harvey Nichols as there was a Christmas event on that offered 15% off all beauty products (very rare). After browsing what they had to offer nothing much caught my attention except this set!

I don't own any Butter London polishes so when I see this set I fell in love. This set itself didn't come cheap at €35 but seeing as one individual polish is €14 and I got 15% off (bringing my total down to €29.75) how could I say no! I'll be wearing these polishes alot over Winter as they are so festive. Another thing I love about these polishes are the names especially Chancer!

Here is a quick Nail of the Day using Rosie Lee. Isn't it beautiful? The result shown is after three coats! This glitter polish looks so nice when the light catches it. I'm looking forward to trying the other two polishes, I'll put up another NOTD post when I do.

What Butter London polishes should I try next?

Christmas Gift Ideas #2 - Clarins All About Lips Set

This is my first ever purchase from Clarins. All About Lips Set is a present I could see girls loving this christmas. It contains four mini lip products that come in wearable shades.

All the products come in this gorgeous gold cosmetic bag which is big enough to store makeup brushes or some of your go-to products in your handbag.

Here are the lip products you get in the set:

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 01 Rose Shimmer  & 03 Nude Shimmer

Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm in 03 Candy Pink & 02 Peach Nectar

The Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors have gotten rave reviews throughout the blogosphere so it's safe to say their brilliant. Rose Shimmer is the shade I've been using the most, it looks so nice on. I always have it in my bag. I hadn't heard much about the Colour Quench Lip Balms before I seen them in this set. These little gems are so moisturising, not sticky at all and smell like cherries (need I say more!) Clarins is a brand that I've never been drawn towards. After using this set I am going to try some more of their products in the future, Passion Face Palette I'm looking at you!

Clarins All About Lips Set retails for €20 (£17) and is available at counters and online.

What have you tried from Clarins?

If I had to pick my favourite products from the kit, it would be the Guava Little Showergel and Body Butter. This stuff smells so yummy and reminds me of holidays. It's very fruity, definitely a firm favourite of mine.
